As part of a regular series, we are keeping track of what the Professors of Evangelism are currently doing.

The fact is, summer is definitely not VACATION for the Professors, and we would like to share some of what they are doing on that "time off".

This time we look in on Laceye Warner, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Academic Formation and Programs, Associate Professor of the Practice of Evangelism and Methodist Studies, and the Royce and Jane Reynolds Teaching Fellow at Duke University Divinity School.

Bishop Ken Carter and Laceye have finished a book, Grace to Lead , which will be published by the GBHEM in Fall 2010.

The end of July she will give a Plenary Address and lead workshops at the School of Congregational Development gathering in Evanston, IL as well as preach and teach at Asbury United Methodist Church in Birmingham, AL the second weekend in August both on the theme "Spreading Scriptural Holiness: Reclaiming Evangelistic Practice for the Contemporary Church."

Thank you for sharing, and have a great "Vacation"
