As part of a regular series, we are keeping track of what the Professors of Evangelism are currently doing.
The fact is, summer is definitely not VACATION for the Professors, and we would like to share some of what they are doing on that "time off".
Today we have this from Elain Heath, McCreless Assistant Professor of Evangelism at Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University.
She has recently returned from an immersion class that Michael Hawn and Elaine took 12 students on, to Iona and to the Northumbria community. They are founding theirr second monastic house, the Bonhoeffer House in Euless TX where they have a second New Day community in formation.
She is chaplain of the week in Lakeside, OH all this week, preaching every day.
Later this summer She'll be teaching in a youth school of spiritual formation, and teaching at their Taos summer workshop in NM. In between all of that she is working on several writing projects.
Thank you for sharing.
